Winter blues… it’s a real thing especially up here in the PNW!
With winter in full swing, it can be easy for your mood to be affected by the darker days and colder weather. Fortunately, there are so many things we can do or try that can help to keep our spirits high and keep the weather from bringing us down. Changing seasons usher in more than just cold weather and dorky sweaters; you might find yourself combating funky moods, restlessness, low energy, and immune deficiencies. Here are a few of our favorite essentials oils plus tips to soothe the winter blues.
- Frankincense: balances and calms emotions while supporting the body’s natural response to healing.
- Cedarwood: encourages healthy function of pineal gland, which releases the body’s natural sleep hormone, melatonin.

Soothe My Spirits | Roller
- 4 drops Lavender
- 3 drops Frankincense
- 3 drops Roman Chamomile
- 2 drops Cedarwood
- carrier oil of choice
Combine oils in a roller bottle and fill with carrier oil of choice (jojoba or grapeseed oil). Apply as ofter as needed to wrists, neck, or feet.
