Literally, this is what my son said earlier today. He said this after stinking up the kitchen with his tween stench.  I guess I should be thankful he knows what to do about it?!?

And that “farty stuff” he mentions happens to be Kidscents – MightyZyme Chewables.

Here’s the official description: MightyZyme chewables contain enzymes that naturally occur in the body that support and assist the digestive needs of growing bodies and the normal digestion of foods. For the relief of occasional symptoms including fullness, pressure, bloating, stuffed feeling (commonly referred to as gas), pain and/or minor cramping that may occur after eating.

Here’s my thoughts: These rock!  Not only do the kids rely on them.  I take them when I feel bloated.  They have a yummy pepperminty flavor. We all love them.

I didn’t know much about digestive enzymes until I researched them for a friend. They all end with -ase and the prefix tells you what they help.  Lipase helps with digestion of lipids (fats!).  Amylase helps with digestion of starches. Peptidase and Protease help with digestion of proteins.  Phytase helps with digestion of phytic acid (i.e., green leafy vegetables). Lactase helps with digestion of lactose (i.e., dairy)!   Fascinating right?!? Ok.  Maybe just fascinating for me.  But knowing what you are sensitive to helps you pick the right digestive enzymes for you!  Young Living pairs the digestive enzymes with essential oils to boost their efficacy.  In additional to the Mightyzumes they have a couple of different adult formulations too – Essentialzymes and Essentialzymes-4.

Nice deal, right? So maybe think about having these on hand for the next time you feel pressure, bloating or gas?

Great info, Laura. I use Essentialzymes 4. I was going to try just the Essentialzymes one month in place of the other one to see how it worked, as I thought it would cost less being it has fewer ingredients, but costwise they are about the same. Therefore, I decided to stay with the 4!
What is the difference between them though? Maybe you only take one pill instead of 2? What is the difference in ingredients?

Having read this I thought it was very informative. I appreciate you finding the time and energy to put this information together. I once again find myself spending way too much time both reading and posting comments. But so what, it was still worthwhile!
